1. General Principles

We reserve the right to remove any content suspected of copyright infringement promptly upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, as required to maintain "safe harbor" protections under the DMCA.

2. DMCA Takedown Notice Requirements

To submit a valid DMCA infringement notice, copyright owners or their authorized agents must provide a written communication (electronic or physical) containing the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative;

  • Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed (or a list of such works if multiple works are involved);

  • Detailed information sufficient to locate the allegedly infringing material on our platform, including specific URLs, product listing links, and screenshots (with timestamps) of the infringing content;

  • Contact information for the notifier, including full name, physical address, telephone number, and valid email address;

  • A good-faith statement that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;

  • A declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that the notifier has the authority to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We do not process incomplete notices or notices lacking the required information.

3. Takedown Process

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of the notice within 2 business days;

  • Promptly review the allegations and locate the allegedly infringing material;

  • Remove or disable access to the infringing content within 48 hours of verifying the notice’s validity;

  • Notify the affected user (if applicable) of the takedown, including a copy of the DMCA notice (with personal information redacted) and information on how to submit a counter-notice.

4. DMCA Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe your content was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a valid DMCA counter-notice. The counter-notice must include the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature;

  • Identification of the material that was removed/disabled and its original location (URLs or product listing links);

  • A good-faith statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification;

  • Your full name, physical address, telephone number, and valid email address;

  • A statement agreeing to accept service of process from the copyright owner or their agent, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where you reside (or a specified U.S. federal district court if you are outside the U.S.).

We will review counter-notices within 3 business days. If valid, we will forward the counter-notice to the original notifier and inform them that the material will be restored within 10-14 business days unless the copyright owner initiates legal action to prevent restoration.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

To maintain compliance with AppLovin’s platform standards, we adopt a "three-strike" policy for repeat infringers:

  • First infringement: Content removal and written warning;

  • Second infringement: Temporary suspension of account privileges (e.g., inability to list new products) for 7 days;

  • Third infringement: Permanent termination of the user’s account and prohibition from using our services.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or engage in willful infringement, without prior warning, if the violations are severe or intentional.

6. Disclaimer

We do not pre-screen all content on our platform but will respond promptly to valid DMCA notices. We are not liable for copyright infringement by users or third parties, provided we comply with the DMCA’s notice-and-takedown requirements and maintain safe harbor protections. We reserve the right to refuse to process frivolous, fraudulent, or abusive DMCA notices.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time to reflect legal changes or AppLovin’s platform requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
